Introduction:Savannah College of Art & Design is famous for its Computer Art program, ranked the top 5 in America’s arts school. SCAD provides well-equipped facilities including advanced computer equipment and software. The optional courses include 2D animation, photography animation, 3D animation, interactive design, games development, and motion media design. Alumni whose major is in 3D animation especially have quite a reputation in the industry, and popular among many professional animation companies such as Pixar, Disney, ILM (industrial light and magic), Sony imagework, digital domain. SCAD is also where many well-known animation companies seek potential elites or host lectures. SUPINFOCOM has become the top school in digital computer image making area. Many alumni from the communication school of SUPINFOCOM have become pioneers in animation in Europe. The courses focus on professional animation making and group working. The students will join a one year animation production team and participate in the professional animation making procedures and discuss under the instruction of experienced teachers.

Polygon Picture is a 3D animation studio founded in Tokyo, Japan. Polygon produces a wide range of animation work including Shiseido Cosmetics, Tokoro-san, and the animation movie Samuroid Zero. Polygon Picture stood its foot from producing Shiseido TV commercials, and the company mostly deals with cases from the U.S.A.’s TV animation series and expands the companies via this business. Polygon Picture
participated the 3D animation making in the film <Innocence> directed by Oshii Mamoru in 2004 and in 2008 also be responsible for producing another Mamoru’s animation film < The Sky Crawlers >.
